Connections “along the pipeline” with water policy decision maker, Steph Hogan

This was the first online Water Chat for 2024 where we explore the various roles of colleagues up and down the "water modelling pipeline", focussing on their connection needs with other professionals in Queensland.

On this occasion Piet spoke with Steph Hogan, Executive Director, Strategic Water Initiatives, Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water and a leader committed to sound water policy and management initiative. The discussion focussed heavily on the development and release of the Queensland Water Strategy, released late 2023.

In the second half of the session, Steph’s colleagues Michelle Bordignon and Joel Bolzenius who were able to offer responses to questions, and talk on their experiences in supporting the decision making activities of the team.
